Nice project! Although, I question the safety of handling a wooden ring stuck on a drill bit in a drill press with your bare hands while it's spinning...

I need to mod the forum to show YouTube previews when videos are  posted.

I only had one incident and it was with the steel wool getting wrapped up at high speed. Otherwise, it was perfectly safe.
